The factory was founded in 1948. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, the company had to adapt to the changing economic environment. To expand its product line, new products for road construction and production of the metallurgical industry were started. Vehicles of Belaz have gained a good reputation mainly in Vietnam and North Africa. The BAZAZ company is one of the largest enterprises among the Commonwealth of Independent States. The Quality Management System used in the research and development, manufacturing, construction and sale of services in the equipment complies with the international standard ISO 9001. The largest vehicle currently manufactured in the company is Belaz 75710 with a load capacity of 450 tons.
